I am finally getting caught up from the distractions of business travel and basement finishing. I apologize for being late on getting SLPSA classifiers to USPSA. They are up there and will show up on the USPSA site soon.

SLPSA will hava a Special Classifier match for its regular monthly match on May 20. Any of you who are not USPSA classified can be classified after this match. Don't forget you must join USPSA though!! Hit their web site and sign up on-line at The new rules and lower power factor will apply and we will be running a chronograph.
I've picked 4 classifiers that are quite a lot like field courses so there won't be much stand and shoot stuff. They will require a bit more effort in the way of setup than the regular monthly matches have so far. Anyone who can show up early on Saturday (7:00 A.M.) to help will get a gold star on their forehead in addition to the $5.00 match discount. I'm also probably going to do some setup on Friday afternoon.
There is a small complication in that we need to be off the 25 yard range (the west bay) by Noon to accomodate the bullseye shooters. We will setup the simpler stages in that bay and concentrate on getting the squads finished with those stages first.
I need some help from LTD - can someone with a truck bring up all the full-size poppers to use for the day?
SLPSA is also greatly in need of a couple of assistant match directors. The 'many hands make light work' thing definately applies to setting up and running a match.
Since the May match will be a little bigger deal than usual, could you please RSVP to me if you are for-sure going to be there.
